Some days sowing good feels small. You quietly serve, you choose patience, you forgive again, and it seems like nothing moves. Simpson reminds us that Jesus counts every faith-filled act. Nothing is wasted in His hands. The field may look bare to you, but Heaven sees the rootwork.

Scripture lifts our eyes to a wider horizon. We are not just living for this afternoon. We are sowing into an unending future where Jesus will unveil what He has grown through our simple trust. Even the tiniest seed of faith carries a life that does not quit. In due time, it bears what it was always meant to bear.

So the call today is gentle. Do not grow weary in doing good. Not because you must power through on your own, but because the Spirit within you supplies endurance. Grace keeps you, one step at a time. What looks small to you is never small to Him.

Thank you, A. B. Simpson, for pointing us past the immediate and into the ages to come. Your words help us lift our heads and remember the certain harvest that Jesus is preparing for His people.

Journal Entry - Voice of the Holy Spirit Through Scripture

I am with you and within you. I steady your hands when good work seems unnoticed. Keep sowing, not from strain, but from our union in Jesus. What you place in the ground by faith is guarded by Me. I do not forget your work of love. I empower your endurance. I direct your steps so that your labor in the Lord is not empty.

Fix your gaze where I lead it, not on what is seen for a moment, but on what is weighty and lasting. I strengthen you to continue, not with clenched fists, but with a heart at rest. As you present yourself to Me, I work in you to will and to do what pleases the Father. The life of Jesus is your life, so you can go on doing good without fear of running dry.

When you serve, I am the One expressing the kindness. When you speak truth in love, I am the One giving grace. When you choose patience in the delay, I am the One producing the fruit. Your part is to abide. My part is to bring forth the harvest in its season. Lift up your head. There is a storehouse of goodness already prepared. In due time, you will see it.

Real-Life Analogy

Think of a simple drip coffee maker. You place the filter, measure the grounds, pour the water, then you let the process work. One clear drop at a time, the carafe fills. You do not shake the machine or pry it open to rush it. You trust heat and gravity to do what they always do.

In the same way, you set your heart before the indwelling Spirit, then you let Him work through steady, ordinary faithfulness. A word of encouragement to a coworker. A quiet prayer for a neighbor. Finishing a task with integrity when no one is watching. You position yourself, and Jesus supplies the flow. For a real moment today, if a client grows impatient or a family member presses your buttons, say inwardly, Lord, I entrust this moment to You, express Your patience and kindness through me right now. Then answer gently, finish the email clearly, or give the ride without a lecture, trusting the Spirit to carry the weight.

Prayer of Confidence

Father, thank You that in Jesus I already stand in grace. Thank You that Your Spirit lives in me and supplies endurance for every good work. I agree with You that my labor in the Lord is not in vain. I receive Your patience, kindness, and quiet strength for today’s assignments. The harvest is certain because You are faithful. I rest in that.
