Pearls With Patience
A single pearl offered with care, a picture of timing and love in our words.

Jesus teaches in Matthew 7:6 that holy things and precious lessons are not for trampling. That is not a call to stinginess with the gospel. It is an invitation to care for people as we share. Today’s reading in eManna, from Witness Lee, helped me slow down. I do not share because I am excited to unload. I share because I love the person in front of me.
Some days we discover a fresh truth and want everyone to taste it right away. I have felt that thrill. Then I remember how Jesus handled hearts. He spoke as people were able to hear. He asked questions. He stopped for the one. Love watches for capacity. Love sizes the portion to fit the moment.
This is not fear of rejection. It is wisdom, tenderness, and trust. The Holy Spirit knows how much a friend can receive right now. He also knows what to hold for later. When we follow His lead, the pearls do not get lost in the dust. They land in open hands.
So here is the gentle path for today. Listen first. Ask the Spirit for timing. Offer a word that fits. If the door is closed, keep loving and keep praying. Jesus is patient with us. We can be patient with others.
Journal Entry – Voice of the Holy Spirit Through Scripture
I teach you to speak truth in love. Let your words be with grace, seasoned so they help the hearer. Be quick to listen, slow to speak, slow to become angry. I give you a tongue of those who are taught so that you may know how to sustain the weary with a word in season.
I lead you to share as others are able to hear. I guided My servants to feed with milk when hearts were not ready for solid food. I told the disciples that there were many things they could not bear yet. I spoke in parables as they were able to hear it. Follow Me in this.
I call you to gentleness. The servant of the Lord is not quarrelsome. Be kind to all, able to teach, patient, correcting with gentleness. Honor Christ as Lord in your heart, and be ready to give a reason for the hope you have with gentleness and respect. Restore those who stumble in a spirit of gentleness, keeping watch on yourself.
I free you from pressure. Do not cast pearls where they will be trampled. Do not judge another servant in disputable matters. Bear with the failings of the weak. Let love abound in knowledge and all discernment so that you may approve what is excellent. Abide in Me, and I will guide your words and your timing.

Real-Life Analogy
Think about a dimmer switch in a living room. Full brightness helps when you are cleaning. Soft light is better for a late conversation. The indwelling Spirit of Jesus works like that in our speech. He knows when to brighten the room and when to lower the light so tired eyes can adjust. When I yield to Him, tone and timing match the person, not my urge to prove a point.
Try this today. Before you text a friend who is hurting, pause and whisper, Lord, I trust You to set the level of my words and to love them through me right now. Then write one clear sentence that serves their good, and be willing to wait for the next step.
Prayer of Confidence
Father, thank You for giving me Your Son and for placing Your Spirit within me. Thank You for wisdom that is pure, peaceable, and kind. I receive today as a chance to love people well. My confidence is not in clever words. My confidence is in Jesus who lives in me. Lord, I trust You to guide my timing, my tone, and my portion as I share.
