Held By His Life, Moved By His Love

Resting on the Source, ready for the day He carries

Adolph Saphir lifts our eyes to the living Center of everything. In Him we live and move and have our being. Jesus is not the Lord of a thin spiritual corner while the rest runs on its own. He upholds all things by the word of His power. The seasons turn, history unfolds, and your next breath and decision are carried by His sustaining care.

Saphir reminds us that the One who holds galaxies also stooped to save. The Son did not come merely to impress or to shine for a moment. He came to purge our sins by Himself. Infinite majesty met infinite mercy at the cross. The result is not only a new destiny. It is a new life now, the life of Jesus within His people, steady and sure.

This changes how we walk through an ordinary Tuesday. If Jesus truly carries all, then I can stop acting as if everything depends on my grip. If Jesus truly purged my sins, then shame does not get the last word. I move through the day as someone held, forgiven, and supplied in Him.

Thank you, Adolph Saphir, for pointing us to the Lord of all who became the Savior of sinners. In the life of abiding in Christ, we rest in His keeping and respond to His leading. He is the One who makes all things new, beginning with us.

Journal Entry – Voice of the Holy Spirit Through Scripture

I hold you and all creation together in My Son. In Him you live and move and have your being. By Him all things were made. By His word all things are upheld. He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. I have highly exalted Him, yet He humbled Himself and bore your sins in His body on the tree to bring you to Me.

You have died with Jesus, and you live to God in Him. The life you now live in the body you live by faith in the Son of God who loved you and gave Himself for you. Present yourself to Me as one alive from the dead. Walk in newness of life. Set your mind on things above where the Messiah is seated at My right hand. Let the peace of the Messiah rule in your heart, and let His word dwell in you richly.

You are My workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works that I prepared beforehand. Abide in My Son, and you will bear much fruit, for apart from Him you can do nothing. Stand firm in My strength, clothed with the armor I provide. I am at work in you, both to will and to do for My good pleasure. He who calls you is faithful. I will surely do it.

Real-Life Analogy

Think of placing your phone on a wireless charger at night. The phone does not strain to fill itself. It simply rests on the pad, and power flows from the source into the device. In the morning it is ready because it remained in the place where supply was certain.

Life in Jesus works like that. He is the Source who sustains and renews. When your calendar stacks up and you feel the pull to run on fumes, you might say, Lord, I lean into Your life in me for this day. Be the energy and wisdom of my words in the meeting at two, and the patience in my commute. Then step into the day with a steady pace, answer simply, choose the next right task, and let the Holy Spirit express the life of Jesus through you.

Prayer of Confidence

Father, thank You that in Jesus I live and move and have my being. Thank You that He upholds all things by His word and that He has purged my sins once for all. I affirm that I am alive to You in Christ, forgiven, and indwelt by Your Spirit. I receive the peace of the Messiah ruling in my heart, and I welcome His word richly within me.

Today I walk as one kept by Your power. I rely on the life of Jesus in me for every conversation and decision. I rejoice that You are at work in me to will and to do. I rest under Your faithful care, confident that all I need for life and godliness is already mine in Your Son. In the name of Jesus I give thanks. Amen.
