Fully Included, Fully Indwelt
The key to God's promises has already been placed in your hand—walk into the fullness of what is already yours.

Today’s devotional by Bob Hoekstra opens our eyes to a glorious reality: Gentiles, once outside the promises of God, have now been brought fully into His family through faith in Jesus Christ. This wasn’t an afterthought. Though Israel had a unique calling as God's chosen nation, the inclusion of the Gentiles was always part of God's overarching plan. Throughout the Old Testament, glimpses of this coming light for the nations flicker—promises that one day all peoples would praise the Lord and walk in His light.
Now, in Christ, those shadows have become substance. The Apostle Paul declares what was once unthinkable to Jewish ears: Gentiles are “fellow heirs,” “of the same body,” and “partakers of His promise.” Through the gospel, a new, unified body has been formed where Jewish and Gentile believers are knit together as one church, one Spirit-indwelt people of God.
This is not mere spiritual adoption in name only. It is full participation. Gentiles in Christ receive the same inheritance, the same Spirit, and the same intimate access to the Father as Jewish believers. No second-class citizens exist in the kingdom of God. All who believe receive the blessing of Abraham, which is the promise of the Spirit through faith.
The implications for daily life are enormous. This means I never need to wonder whether I truly belong, whether God's promises apply to me, or whether I am distant from His presence. If I am in Christ, I am included. I am indwelt. I am home.
Journal Entry – Voice of the Holy Spirit Through Scripture
You are not an outsider. You are not waiting at the door for permission to come in. You have been brought near by the blood of Christ. In Him, I have removed the dividing wall of hostility and made one new people from every tribe, tongue, and nation.
You are not a guest in My household. You are My child. You are an heir. You are part of My family. Every spiritual blessing I have is yours. I have not withheld My Spirit from you. I have poured Him out freely and fully. You have the mind of Christ, the righteousness of Christ, and the Spirit of Christ.
You are not on the outskirts of promise. You are a full participant in the promise of life. I have given you My Spirit as a seal and as a guarantee. You walk in the inheritance of My Son, not by your striving, but by faith.
Live today as one who has already received. The fullness of My love, My peace, and My presence are yours. You are part of something larger than yourself—a living, breathing body, joined together by grace and led by My Spirit.
Walk as one who belongs.

Real-Life Analogy
Imagine being handed a key to a house you didn’t build, one that was fully furnished, fully paid for, and fully yours. No mortgage, no debt, no delay. You walk in, and everything already belongs to you—not because of your work, but because you were written into the inheritance by name.
This is what it means to be a Gentile believer in Christ. You have not been given a guest pass to God’s family. You’ve been given the keys to the kingdom. Every room is open. Every promise is yours.
So today, if you find yourself questioning your place or worth, take a moment and say, “Lord, I trust You to live through me as one who is fully included, fully indwelt, and fully Yours. I yield to You now to express this truth through how I listen, how I speak, how I serve, and how I love.”
Prayer of Confidence
Father, thank You for including me in the promises that once seemed distant. Thank You that I am not hoping to be accepted, but already seated with Christ in the heavenly realms. You have made me a partaker of Your promise, and You have filled me with Your Spirit.
Today, I walk in the freedom of full inclusion, full indwelling, and full inheritance. I rest in the reality that I am Yours, and all that is Yours in Christ is now mine.
Amen.
