The courtroom is empty. The light has broken through. You are free.

Today’s devotional from Miles Stanford proclaims a liberating truth: in Christ, we are beyond the reach of accusation, judgment, and condemnation. The courtroom of heaven is clear—not because of our defense, but because Christ Himself has already answered every charge. The enemy’s voice is silenced by the voice of the Cross. Our old man has been crucified, the power of the world broken, and Satan judged. These are not promises to wait for—they are facts to rest in.

Faith is not the power to overcome—it is the restful agreement that Christ has already overcome. When we recognize that our enemies have already been delivered into our hands through the finished work of Jesus, our inner battles take on a different shape. We are not fighting for victory, but from it. Satan is restrained. The flesh is dethroned. The world is judged. Every trial that seems to approach us must pass through the sovereign filter of God's permission—and behind it all is His love.

The believer is not merely surviving—he is more than a conqueror through Him who loved us. And that love never lets go.

✍🏼 Personalized Journal Entry – Voice of the Holy Spirit Through Scripture

I have cleared the courtroom for you. No accusation remains, for I have declared you righteous. No condemnation stands, for My Son has borne the judgment. No threat has power, for the risen Christ now holds you within the embrace of My everlasting arms.

You are not on trial. You are not awaiting a verdict. The gavel has already fallen. The blood has already spoken. Your life is hidden with Christ in Me, and I am for you—not merely beside you, but within you, empowering you to walk as one who has been made free.

The enemy you fear has already been overcome. The prince of this world has been judged. The power of sin has been broken. And even when the enemy is permitted to press, it is never without purpose, and never beyond My control. I have placed Myself between you and every assault. What touches you must pass through Me—and I only allow what works eternal good.

Do not live as though you're trying to escape what I’ve already conquered. Live as one who is risen. Walk as one who is held. Rejoice as one who is already home.

You are not condemned. You are not abandoned. You are Mine—and I do not lose what belongs to Me.

🧺 Real-Life Analogy

It’s like stepping out of a courtroom where the charges have been dropped, the record expunged, and the judge himself walks you to the door, smiling. The fear of the verdict lingers—until you remember: the case was settled before you even walked in. There’s no jury waiting. No sentence hanging. You’re free—and now you get to live like it.

🙏🏼 Prayer of Confidence

Father, I thank You that the case is closed. You have justified me, not by what I’ve done, but by what Christ has already accomplished. I rest in the victory that has already been won. I no longer tremble at false accusations or uncertain futures. I rejoice that I am free-born—raised with Christ, seated with Him, and held by You. Nothing can separate me from Your love. I walk today in the quiet confidence of that truth.
