đ§ Where I Am, There Is No Regret
When the mess is wiped away, there's no need to keep looking backâjust enjoy the cleared surface and move forward.

Jessie Penn-Lewis reminds us that communion with God is maintained moment by momentânot through hypervigilant introspection or anxious correction of past failures, but through present, conscious dependence on Christ. We break fellowship when our minds are split between regrets of yesterday and uncertainties about tomorrow. The enemy knows this and lures us with bothâreplaying old wounds and provoking fears that havenât even come to pass.
True communion is not self-managed perfection; it is consulting the Lord in all things and yielding to His voice when He brings something to light. If weâre shown a wrong toward another, we humbly go and make it rightânot out of guilt, but because we cherish unbroken fellowship. And if no clear direction is given, we release it, trusting Him to gather and redeem the messy threads of both our past and our future.
Andrew Murray beautifully affirms that our sinful past no longer exists in the eyes of the Father. Christâs past is now ours. His record is ours. His peace is ours. When we stop trying to rewrite our own story and instead rest in His, regret loses its grip, and communion is restoredânot because we got it all right, but because weâre united with the One who did.
đ Journal Entry â Voice of the Holy Spirit Through Scripture
Beloved, you are not called to relive what I have already redeemed. You may hear whispers urging you to look back or predictions warning you about what lies aheadâbut I am here in the present, where My grace is sufficient and My fellowship is unbroken.
When your conscience stirs, bring it to Me. I do not accuseâI counsel. If youâve wronged another, I will show you clearly and gently. Walk with Me in humility and sincerity. But do not scour your memories hoping to earn peace through apology. Your peace is anchored in Me.
You are in Christ. His past is your past. I do not see you in Adam anymore. I see you hidden in My Son, clothed in His righteousness. Your duty is simple: remain in Me and do the next thing with your whole heart as unto the Lord. I will redeem what lies behind and straighten what lies ahead.

đ§ Real-Life Analogy
Itâs like spilling a glass of juice across the kitchen floor. You instinctively reach for a towel and begin to clean it, but halfway through, you keep replaying how you tipped the glassâand before long, youâre too distracted to notice youâre walking in sticky puddles.
Christ doesnât hand you a towel and then lecture you about your clumsiness. He steps in, wipes it up with you, and says, âLetâs move forward together.â So today, if the Holy Spirit brings something to mindâa word you need to retract, a call you need to makeârespond. But if not, donât go searching for trouble. Instead, in that next task or conversation, simply pause and say, âLord, I trust You to think, move, and speak through me right now,â and walk with the joy of one whose past is already clean.
đ Prayer of Confidence
Father, thank You that my pastâno matter how tangledâis not mine to manage anymore. In Christ, Youâve erased what once stood against me and given me a new identity, free from accusation. I trust You with the people Iâve hurt and the decisions I regret, knowing that You redeem what I cannot redo. I rejoice that communion with You isnât dependent on my perfection but on Christâs indwelling life. Today, I walk freely, moment by moment, with eyes on You and heart at rest.
