Seeing What Heaven Emphasizes

Ephesians 3:3 speaks of a mystery made known by revelation. Today’s reading invites us to something deeper than enterprise or movement. It invites us to the Spirit’s unveiling of God’s purpose in this hour. I hear T. Austin-Sparks pointing us to a simple center. See Jesus as the Father’s great emphasis, then live from that view.
I have felt the pull to plan, to produce, to meet the demand of the moment. None of that is wrong by itself. It just cannot be the source. The writer reminds me that there is a difference between working for God from our ideas and walking with God from His revelation. One is labor that starts with us. The other is life that starts with Him.
This revelation is not for a select few. It is the Spirit opening our eyes to the Son of God for the good of His people. When Jesus is revealed to the heart, courage rises without hardness. Vision grows without rivalry. The result is love that pays the cost with joy, because the Object is worthy.
So here is the invitation for today. Ask no one to be impressed with us. Let the Spirit lift our eyes to the Lord Jesus. Receive His present emphasis. Then let our words and work flow from that view for the sake of others.
Journal Entry – Voice of the Holy Spirit Through Scripture
I open the eyes of your heart to know the hope of His calling, the riches of His inheritance in the saints, and the greatness of His power toward you who believe. I give you a Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of the Lord Jesus. I reveal the mystery that was hidden and now is made known, Christ in you, the hope of glory.
I point your heart toward the Son. From His fullness you receive grace upon grace. I take what belongs to Him and declare it to you. I strengthen you with power in the inner person so that Jesus dwells in your heart through faith, and you are rooted and grounded in love. I equip you to speak the truth in love so the whole body grows up into Him.
I set you apart for the work I prepared, not by the will of man, but by the counsel of God. Fix your eyes on Jesus. Walk by faith and not by sight. Let the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus shine in your heart. Abide in Him, and your labor is in the Lord and is not in vain.

Real-Life Analogy
Think of tapping to focus on a phone camera. When the lens locks on the subject, the background softens and the picture clears. Living from revelation works like that. As the indwelling Spirit of Jesus brings the Lord into sharp focus, other demands lose their power to pull. Plans can remain on the table, yet the heart is settled because the true subject is clear.
Try this today. Before you make your next plan, pause and say, Lord, I trust You to set my focus on what You are emphasizing, and to work through me as I take the next step. Then move forward expecting Him to express clarity, patience, and love in the conversation that follows.
Prayer of Confidence
Father, thank You for giving me the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in knowing Your Son. Thank You that Christ lives in me, and that You have already seated Him far above all rule and power. I receive this day as a gift. I agree with Your present emphasis. My work flows from Your life in me. Lord, I trust You to keep Jesus in clear view and to express Your purpose through my words and choices.
