Seeing Through Heaven’s Window

Just as the horizon invites you to keep exploring, so life in Jesus draws you into ever-deepening discovery.

When T. Austin-Sparks speaks of “opening a window,” he invites us to look into something infinitely greater than ourselves. The focus is not on theological curiosities, but on the surpassing greatness of Jesus. Everything God intended in creating mankind, the world, and the universe is bound up in knowing Jesus. Our growth, transformation, and joy are tied to Him—not as an abstract figure, but as a living Person who embodies the eternal order of God’s kingdom.

Isaiah foretold that the increase of His government and peace will never end. This means that both now and in eternity, there will always be more of Him to know. In the Christian life, stagnation is not a sign of maturity, but of disconnection. True life is always moving forward, growing deeper, and discovering more of His richness. Even in heaven, we will never exhaust the treasure of who He is.

Sparks reminds us that we only see Him from one vantage point at a time. Today, we may be seeing Jesus as our peace, tomorrow as our wisdom, and another day as our victorious King. But no matter the angle, each glimpse fits perfectly into a greater whole. He is not a collection of disconnected truths, but the complete and perfect center of a harmonious kingdom where everything takes its shape from Him.

This is why our pursuit is not simply to know about Him, but to walk in the reality that He is our life, and His life in us shapes everything. When our perspective shifts from trying to live for Him to drawing our very life from Him, every step becomes an unfolding of His fullness. Each day is another opening of the window, giving us a wider, clearer view of the eternal, heavenly order that will one day be fully revealed.

Journal Entry – Voice of the Holy Spirit Through Scripture

I have drawn you to Myself so that you may live from My life. You are already complete in Me, yet I will keep showing you more of My fullness, both now and forever. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end, and there is no end to the increase of My kingdom.

Do not be content with what you have already seen of Me. Come closer. Let your heart be set on things above, where I am seated at the right hand of God. As you behold Me, you are changed into My likeness from one degree of glory to another. You are not striving toward an unreachable goal; you are walking with Me in what I have already accomplished.

You are a part of My heavenly order even now, for I have seated you in heavenly places. Everything in you that aligns with Me will one day be woven perfectly into the unity of My kingdom. Until that day, I will keep revealing new dimensions of My grace, love, and wisdom to you. And I will never cease to draw you deeper into the knowledge of Myself.

Real-Life Analogy

It is like standing at the edge of the ocean on a clear day. You can see far into the distance, but you know the horizon is not the end—it only marks how far your eyes can reach from where you stand. Tomorrow, if you step into a boat, you will see from a new angle. And each mile traveled reveals more of the same ocean, yet with new depths, colors, and patterns you could not see before.

In the same way, life in Jesus is a journey of ever-increasing sight. You do not have to strain to see the entire horizon now. You can rest in the truth that each step with Him brings a fresh revelation of who He is. When the day’s challenges arise, you can quietly yield and say, “Lord, I trust You to express Your life in me right now, and to open the view You want me to see today.”

Prayer of Confidence

Lord, thank You that my life is secure in You and that there is no limit to the increase of Your kingdom. I rejoice that each day holds the opportunity to know You more. You are the center, the fullness, and the perfection of all things, and I lack nothing in You. I rest in the truth that You will keep opening my eyes to Your glory, both now and for all eternity.
