Quiet Overflow From the Source

From the source to the cup, a quiet picture of overflow for others.

Jesus promised that those who come to Him would have living water within that does not run dry. Oswald Chambers points our eyes to the Source, not to our output. He reminds me that God is responsible for the outflow, while my part is to trust Jesus and stay turned toward Him.

I need that reminder. I can get preoccupied with results, wondering if I am making a difference. Chambers gently urges a different focus. Keep attention on the Lord. He knows how to reach far places through ordinary people who are resting in Him.

Obstacles do not cancel what Jesus supplies. The Holy Spirit finds a way, sometimes quietly, sometimes where I cannot see. My job is not to measure the stream, but to keep receiving, to keep yielding, to keep my heart open to the One who lives in me.

So today I am grateful for Oswald Chambers and his simple counsel. Stay near the Source. Trust the Spirit to carry life through you as you walk, speak, and serve. Jesus knows where the blessing needs to go.

Journal Entry – Voice of the Holy Spirit Through Scripture
I am your Source. Come to Me and drink, and from within you there is a supply for others. I am in you, and I make My home in you. I fill you, and I appoint your steps. Do not fixate on outcomes. Abide in Me, and there will be fruit that remains.

You have been united with Jesus. Consider yourself dead to sin and alive to God in Him. Let My word dwell in you richly. Present yourself to God as one brought from death to life. Walk by the Spirit, and you will not carry out the desire of the flesh. I work in you to will and to do for My good pleasure.

You carry this treasure in a jar of clay, so that the surpassing power may be Mine. Christ in you is the hope of glory. Set your mind on things above, where your life is hidden with Jesus in God. As you look to Him, peace guards your heart, and love overflows to those around you.

Real-Life Analogy
Think about a phone hotspot. When it is connected to a strong signal, other devices nearby receive what they need without the hotspot straining. It simply stays connected, and the connection does the work. Living from Jesus is like that. The Holy Spirit within supplies what the moment requires, and those around you receive grace that did not come from your effort.

Try this today. Before you send a message or step into a conversation, take a quiet breath and turn toward the Lord who lives in you. Say, Lord, I trust You to carry Your life through me to whomever I meet right now. Then move forward expecting gentle wisdom, patience, and kindness to show up without white knuckles.

Prayer of Confidence
Father, thank You for placing Your life within me through Jesus. Thank You that I do not have to manage the outflow. I receive this day as a gift, and I present myself to You. Let Your love, Your peace, and Your truth be seen as I stay near the Source. Lord, I trust You to pour Your life through me in the moments ahead.
