So often in the early stages of our Christian journey, we live as though Christ came down merely to walk beside us and make life easier here. But as we grow in grace, we come to see the deeper truth: we were raised with Him. We now reside—spiritually and positionally—with Christ in the heavenlies. We don’t need to strain to bring Christ into our earthly moments; rather, we are called to live from our heavenly union with Him.
The beauty of this shift is staggering. It’s not about striving to be spiritual through prayer, Scripture reading, or even devotion. These are fruit, not the root. The root is this: we are already united with the risen Christ. And this union changes everything. It is not imitation but participation—not striving to be like Him but abiding in Him, who is our life.
When believers truly grasp that they are seated with Christ in the heavenly places, their walk on earth takes on the fragrance of heaven. There’s no need to stir up revival when Life Himself is animating our days. The path is not self-improvement or performance; it is Spirit-led union with the crucified and risen Lord. This isn’t theology for someday—it’s the reality of heaven now.
📖 Personalized Journal Entry – Voice of the Holy Spirit Through Scripture
I placed you in My Son—not beside Him, not beneath Him, but in Him. You share His risen life. This is not a figure of speech; this is your true position, and I invite you to live from it. You are not striving toward Me—I have already seated you with Me in the heavenly places.
When you view your life through earth-bound lenses, you falter, because your identity cannot be sustained by the ground beneath your feet. You are not of this world. Your source is higher. From your place in Christ, I empower you to walk with purpose, to respond in love, to endure with joy. Not because you are trying to be heavenly—but because you already are.
Let the reality of your union with Christ renew your mind. You are not dragging Me into your circumstances. I am leading you from above, where your life is hidden in Christ. Walk in the awareness of this truth, and you will manifest My Son without effort, without striving, without performance. Let your feet remain on the earth, but let your heart remain in heaven. That is where you live. That is where you belong.

🛗 Real-Life Analogy
It’s like stepping into an elevator at street level and being instantly lifted to the rooftop of a skyscraper. The view changes. The noise quiets. What once overwhelmed you is now beneath you—not because you worked your way up, but because the elevator carried you. Living from your union with Christ is like that—elevated, not by effort, but by position.
🙏🏼 Prayer of Confidence
Father, I thank You that I am no longer bound to this earth for identity, direction, or peace. You have already seated me with Christ in the heavenly places. I rest in the truth that I don’t need to become heavenly—I am heavenly by union with Your Son. As I go about my day, I trust that the risen life of Christ will express itself through me, not by striving, but by abiding. Thank You for making heaven not just my future home, but my present reality in Christ.
