Home In The Son’s Kingdom

From the hallway to home, the Son’s kingdom is your address now.

Jones presses a gentle but needed point. Virtue stacked on virtue without surrender still leaves the self in charge, and the self cannot save the self. God does what we cannot do. He brings us into His Son. The center is forgiveness, received and enjoyed, which opens the door to reconciliation and a new domain of light.

This transfer is not a ladder to climb. It is a change of address. We now live in the Son, and the Son lives in us. That changes the way we face temptation, pressure, and shame. We do not try harder to become worthy. We abide in Jesus who is our worth, our peace, our righteousness. Out of that union, obedience becomes the fruit of a new place we already occupy.

Thank you, E. Stanley Jones, for calling us to the inside of the gospel. We move from through Christ to in Christ. From self-management to Spirit-life. From the dominion of darkness to the kingdom of the Son. This is our environment now. This is home.

Journal Entry – Voice of the Holy Spirit Through Scripture

I have delivered you from the authority of darkness and I have transferred you into the kingdom of My beloved Son. In Him you have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. I united you with Jesus in His death and in His life, so that you walk in newness of life. You are a new creation. Old things have passed away. Your life is hidden with Christ in God.

I bear witness within you that you are a child of God. There is now no condemnation for you who are in Christ Jesus, for the law of the Spirit of life has set you free. I called you out of darkness into My marvelous light. I raised you up with Christ and seated you with Him, so your footing is grace and your badge is adoption.

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly. Set your mind on things above where He is. Present yourself to Me as one alive from the dead. I will work in you to will and to do. When accusation comes, answer with the blood that speaks better things. When the pull of the old domain tugs at your habits, remain in Me, and I will express the life of Jesus through you with quiet power and holy love.

Real-Life Analogy

Picture standing in a dim apartment hallway with the door shut. You slide in the key, turn the knob, and step over the threshold. The lights are warm inside. The air is restful. You do not live in the hallway anymore. Your address is on the other side of that door.

Likewise, the Holy Spirit has set your address in the Son. When an old hallway thought tries to claim you, respond from where you live now. For example, if irritation rises during a family conversation, say in your heart, Lord, I rely on You within me, carry Your patience through my voice right now. Then answer slowly, own your part if needed, and choose words that make for peace. You are not manufacturing virtue. You are letting Jesus express His life from the home that is already yours.

Prayer of Confidence

Father, thank You for bringing me out of darkness and into the kingdom of Your beloved Son. Thank You for full forgiveness, a new identity, and the Spirit dwelling within. I present myself to You as one alive from the dead. I gladly live from my new address in Jesus. Let His peace and truth shape my choices today. I receive the day as a gift, and I rest in what You have already provided.
