God Sending the Ascended Christ

Just as sunlight enters and fills a room, the ascended Christ fills us through His Spirit.

The outpouring of the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost was not merely an event—it was a Person coming to dwell among us. Peter’s bold proclamation in Acts 3:26 was this: The One whom God raised and exalted—Jesus Christ—is the same One He has now sent again, not physically, but as Spirit. This is how God blesses us—not from a distance, but by giving us the very presence of Christ through His Spirit.

Jesus, though ascended and seated in heaven, is not removed from us. In God’s economy, Christ and the Spirit are not two separate blessings—we do not receive Christ and then wait for the Spirit or vice versa. The Spirit is the ascended Christ Himself, given for our enjoyment and intimate union. Peter wanted the people to see that Jesus wasn’t gone—He was nearer than ever. The same Jesus who walked the streets of Galilee, who touched lepers, calmed storms, and forgave sinners, now walks within us as Spirit.

This isn’t theological abstraction; it’s the reality of divine presence. God didn’t leave us as orphans. He poured out Christ in Spirit-form so that anyone—Jew or Gentile—who calls on His name receives not a distant blessing, but the indwelling Christ Himself. This is the gospel in motion: Christ for us, Christ in us, Christ as us.

✍🏼 Personalized Journal Entry – Voice of the Holy Spirit Through Scripture

I have not left you alone, not for a moment. I have come to you as I promised, not only to be beside you but to dwell within you. I who once walked among men now live within those who call on My name. The same power that raised Me from the dead now lives in you. I am not merely a memory or a doctrine—I am your ever-present Comforter, your reality, your source of life.

When you called upon Me, you received more than pardon—you received a Person. My name is Jesus, but My person is Spirit. I do not visit from afar; I abide. I do not offer blessings from a distance; I Myself am your blessing. The moment you turn to Me, I am there—closer than your breath, present in your spirit.

Do not seek Me in the heights or the depths—I am not far from you. I am the ascended One sent again, poured out upon you and into you. I bless you not with things, but with Myself. You have Me—all of Me. I am the peace that steadies you, the joy that strengthens you, the love that anchors you. I am the life that overcomes.

Live today knowing that heaven is not closed to you. The One enthroned in glory now resides in your heart. Rejoice, beloved—I am here, and I am enough.

🧴 Real-Life Analogy

It’s like using a bottle of lotion that says “infused with aloe.” You don’t receive the aloe separately—it’s blended into every drop. In the same way, when we receive the Spirit, we are receiving Jesus Himself—not in addition to the Spirit, but as the Spirit. Every drop of grace, every moment of comfort, every act of divine life flowing in us—is infused with Christ.

🙏🏼 Prayer of Confidence

Father, thank You that You have not left me to chase after You in the heavens. You have already sent Your Son again—not to walk beside me, but to dwell within me. I rejoice that the Spirit in me is Christ Himself, my blessing, my strength, my peace. I do not lack anything, for You have given me everything in Him. Today I rest in this truth: You are not far—I am filled with the ascended Christ.
