Today’s devotional from Ray Stedman invites us into the rich beauty of God's heart through His promises. The passage from Leviticus 26:3–4 is not simply about obeying rules for reward, but about responding to God's gracious provision with honest, open-hearted trust.
When God called His people to follow His decrees, He wasn't demanding self-produced righteousness or mere adherence to the Ten Commandments. He was pointing them toward the provision He had already made—the sacrifices, the cleansings, the offerings—that foreshadowed the perfect provision in Jesus Christ. God asked them to walk honestly before Him, relying on the resources He freely supplied.
The blessings that follow are breathtaking: fruitfulness, full supply, security, growth, intimate fellowship with God, and dignity restored. Each one mirrors a spiritual reality available to us today through Christ. We are called to experience lives that bless others, hearts nourished with abundant provision, peace that silences fear, influence that multiplies beyond ourselves, communion that assures us of His nearness, and dignity that lifts our heads high as beloved sons and daughters.
The key is not sinlessness—but sincerity. God’s request is simple and freeing: Come openly. Come honestly. Come drawing from Christ alone.
Personalized Journal Entry – Voice of the Holy Spirit Through Scripture
You are Mine, chosen to walk not by the strength of your flesh, but by the sufficiency of My provision. I have made every resource available to you through My Son. Come boldly, for there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. I have clothed you with garments of salvation and arrayed you in robes of righteousness.
You will bear fruit that will remain, for I have appointed you to go and bear fruit. Your life will be like a tree planted by streams of water, yielding fruit in season, and your leaf will not wither. All that you do in Me will prosper.
You will lack no good thing, for I am your Shepherd, and I supply all your needs according to My riches in glory. Fear not, little flock, for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom. I will guard you with My peace that passes all understanding, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper.
I am the God who multiplies your influence, who enlarges your borders, who causes your light to break forth like the dawn. I dwell within you. I walk among you. I will never leave you nor forsake you. Lift up your head, beloved, for you are no longer bowed down by shame. I have crowned you with glory and honor in Christ Jesus.

Real-Life Analogy
Imagine walking into a kitchen where a feast has already been prepared for you. You didn’t have to cook it. You didn’t have to labor for it. Every dish is steaming and ready, made exactly to your taste, rich with nourishment. Yet imagine if you stood there, feeling you had to earn the right to sit down, or believing you needed to bring your own sandwich instead. How foolish that would be when everything has already been lovingly provided!
In the same way, God has set a banquet of spiritual blessings before us. Our role is not to add to it or prove we deserve it—it is simply to come, to sit, and to partake with gratitude and honesty, knowing Christ is the provision and the feast.
Prayer of Confidence
Father, I thank You for preparing a life of blessing for me in Christ. I rest today in Your complete provision—not striving, not pretending, but walking in the freedom of honesty before You. I delight that fruitfulness, peace, and fellowship are not earned but gifted in Your love. Thank You for multiplying the influence of Your Spirit through me and for walking with me moment by moment. I rejoice that in Christ, I am lifted up, crowned with Your dignity, and invited daily to Your table. I sit freely and joyfully at the feast You have already prepared.
