Being Renewed

When fresh air floods a forgotten room, it comes alive again — just as God breathes new life into every corner of our hearts.

Today’s reflection from eManna turns our hearts to the refreshing reality of renewal in Christ.
The devotional reminds us that "newness" is not about age, freshness, or how much time has passed — it’s about relationship. God is ever fresh, ever new, because He Himself is Life unchanging and unaging. Everything connected to Him shares in that vitality.

Our possessions, our surroundings, even our very lives become “new” when they are surrendered to Him. It’s not about the objects themselves changing — it’s about who holds them, who fills them, and whose presence sanctifies them.

Just as the coming new heaven and new earth will be the old ones renewed by God's touch, so too are we — made new creations in Christ. The old passes away, not by being destroyed, but by being infused with God’s own life. Renewal is not about erasing what was; it’s about God reclaiming and filling it with Himself.

Today, we are invited to live in that ongoing renewal — celebrating that all things in our lives can be made vibrant and new as we offer them back into the loving hands of our Father.

Personalized Journal Entry – Voice of the Holy Spirit Through Scripture

You are My beloved, called out of darkness into My marvelous light. You are a new creation; the old things have passed away, and all things have become new. Behold, I am making all things new.

I have breathed My Spirit into you, not by might nor by power but by My Spirit, says the Lord of hosts. I have given you a new heart and placed within you a new spirit. I have removed the heart of stone and given you a heart of flesh. I have written My laws upon your heart, and I cause you to walk in My ways.

The heavens declare My glory, and the earth proclaims My handiwork. As I will make a new heaven and a new earth, so I have made you new. You are clothed in the righteousness of Christ, sealed with the Spirit of promise, and destined for a future full of hope and blessing. Therefore, walk in the newness of life, for you are Mine, redeemed and made radiant by My love.

Real-Life Analogy

Imagine a room you haven't used in a long time — maybe a guest room tucked away. Over time, dust settles, the air grows stale, and it feels lifeless. But open the windows, let fresh air pour in, change the linens, and suddenly the entire space feels alive again. The very same room — but touched by something fresh. In the same way, when we surrender areas of our lives to God, He breathes His life into them. What once seemed tired or stale is renewed simply because His presence now fills it.

Prayer of Confidence

Father, I rejoice today that in You, all things are made new. I am not defined by decay, by weariness, or by the passage of time. I am held by You — the God who never ages, never grows weary, and never ceases to pour out life. Thank You for reclaiming every corner of my heart, every possession, every dream, and filling them with Your presence. I walk today as a new creation, not because of anything I have done, but because You have made me new through Christ. I gladly offer every part of my life to You, knowing that in Your hands, everything becomes alive and vibrant with Your love.
