All Things Already Given
The door is open, the house is yours. Walk in and live.

Paul’s words land like a clear morning after rain. All things are yours, life and death, the present and the future, because you belong to Jesus, and Jesus belongs to the Father. Ray Stedman lifts our chin to see the horizon that grace opens. Not a cramped life spent guarding our little pile, but a wide country where sons and daughters walk with the Giver Himself.
The world often bargains. It says, chase applause and you can have it, but only that. Work for the image and you can keep it, but it will keep you. Jesus turns the table. Give up your life to Me, and you discover you have not lost anything that matters. You receive Me, and with Me, everything I share with My people.
Paul brings it right down to church life. Why choose between Paul, Apollos, or Cephas. In the family of God, every faithful gift is for your edification. You do not live on rations. You live in a house where the pantry is full, the doors are open, and the Father delights to give the kingdom.
So we learn a simple rhythm. We do not grab. We receive. We do not posture for value. We live from union with Jesus who has already made us His own. Stedman’s reminder is kind and courageous. Those who let God choose do not end up with less. They end up with Him. And with Him, all things He wills to share.
Journal Entry – Voice of the Holy Spirit Through Scripture
I am the Spirit of the Living God, dwelling in you. I set your eyes on Jesus who is your life. In Him you are not a beggar at the window, you are seated with Him, and I bear witness that you are an heir with Him. The world offers pieces at a price, but I lead you to the One who withheld nothing. If the Father did not spare His Son, how will He not, with Him, freely give you all things suitable for your growth and His glory.
You are not asked to choose scarcity. You are invited to abide. When you cling to your life, it shrinks in your hands. When you present yourself to Me, I guide you into the spacious way where even death serves you, not as a thief, but as a doorway to fuller communion. The present does not own you. The future does not threaten you. You are of Jesus, and Jesus is of God, and I keep you within this living circle of love.
Do not divide what I have joined. Paul planted. Apollos watered. I gave the growth. In the body, the gifts of others are not rivals to your joy. They are part of your inheritance. Receive them with gratitude. Use them with humility. I take what belongs to Jesus and I disclose it to you in season, wisdom for the moment, courage for the step in front of you, compassion for the person before you.
Walk with Me in the ordinary places. I renew your mind to think from your new creation identity. You have died with Jesus, and you are alive to God in Him. Reckon this true when you rise, when you work, when you rest. I am not calling you to earn what is already yours. I am calling you to enjoy what has been given, to steward it in love, and to trust that nothing good in Me can be taken from you.
Real-Life Analogy
Think of the moment you turn the key in your front door after a long day. The tumblers click, the latch releases, and you step into rooms that are already yours. You do not stand on the porch and argue with the lock. You do not pay the price of entry again. You simply use what belongs to you, then you rest, eat, and share the space with those you love.
In the same way, the Holy Spirit within you is like that key already on your keyring. The house is grace. The rooms are the gifts and promises of God. When worry knocks, instead of standing outside rehearsing your lack, you can say, Lord, I trust You to live Your life through me in this moment, unlock what I need for mercy and steady courage, and love through me right here. For example, when a co worker takes credit for your effort, you can quietly release the need to be seen, answer with truth and kindness when needed, and let Jesus express His peace and honesty through you without scrambling for approval.
Prayer of Confidence
Father, thank You that in Jesus You have given me Yourself, and with Yourself, every good thing for life and godliness. Thank You that I am not empty. Thank You that I am not on rations. I affirm that I belong to the Lord, and the Lord is Yours. I affirm that the present and the future are mine in Him. Today, I receive Your abundance as stewardship, not status. I receive the ministries You place around me as gifts, not threats. I receive even hard moments as places where Your grace proves sufficient. I rest in what is already true, and I walk it out with You.
