All My Boast in Jesus
Quieting the noise so one voice comes through, a picture of glorying in Jesus above every other prop.

Philippians 3 lifts a simple banner. Glory in Christ Jesus, put no confidence in the flesh. E. Stanley Jones invites us to take that step from enjoying the Lord to glorying in the Lord Jesus, not as a mood swing, but as a settled way of seeing. Knowing Jesus is the treasure that makes other props lose their shine.
I benefited greatly from that reminder. It is easy to lean on what feels impressive, or on routines that once gave comfort. Paul called those gains loss compared with the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus. Jones puts a gentle hand on the shoulder and says, take the loss gladly, because what you gain is Him.
Glorying in Jesus is not louder noise. It is clearer sight. He becomes the center of the story, and the heart rests. The mind engages too, because the Holy Spirit reveals the fitness and beauty of the Son of God, and we realize that all roads of wisdom lead back to Him.
So today, I choose the simplicity of union with Jesus. Not a system about Him, but the living Lord Himself, known and loved. That is freedom. That is joy.
Journal Entry – Voice of the Holy Spirit Through Scripture
I turn your boast toward Jesus. You worship God in the Spirit, and your confidence is no longer in the flesh. I open your eyes to the surpassing worth of knowing the Lord. I count old gains as loss in your heart, and I draw you into the fellowship of His life, His love, His ways.
I center you in Him who became wisdom for you, righteousness, sanctification, and redemption. Let the one who boasts boast in the Lord. I write this on your thoughts and desires. I am the Spirit of truth. I make Jesus known to you. Eternal life is knowing the Father and the Son.
You are united with Christ. I live in you. I teach you to abide, to bear fruit that remains, to walk by Me rather than by sight. I fix your gaze where the Lord is seated. I fill you in Him. I steady you when other voices pull. Your treasure is Jesus. Your joy is Jesus. Your glory is Jesus.

Real-Life Analogy
On a busy commute I turn on noise-canceling headphones. The low roar of traffic fades, and the voice on a call becomes clear. Glorying in Jesus works like that. The Holy Spirit does the quieting. He lowers the hum of pride and pressure, and the living voice of the Lord comes forward.
Try this today. Before you open your inbox or step into a decision, pause and say, Lord, I trust You to quiet the roar and center my heart in the surpassing worth of knowing You as You work through me. Trust Him. He will as you yield to Him.
Prayer of Confidence
Father, thank You for giving me the treasure of knowing Your Son. Thank You that in Jesus I am complete, and that Your Spirit turns my boast away from the flesh and toward the Lord. I receive this day as a place to enjoy Your Son and to live from union with Him. Lord, I trust You to keep my attention on Your worth and to express Your love through me in every conversation.
