All Alive
Everything connected to the Light lives, even through the storm.

E. Stanley Jones reflects on 1 Corinthians 15:22 and the absolute finality and fruitfulness of being in Christ. Life is not something added on to us like a supplement—it is inherent in Christ, and therefore it is inherent in us because we are in Him. Just as in Adam all die, in Christ all are made alive—not only spiritually, but in every facet of our being and belonging.
This aliveness isn’t partial or theoretical. It touches everything: our bodies, minds, spirits, relationships, resources, and actions. Nothing outside of Christ has permanence, meaning, or life. Every attempt to preserve meaning outside of Him—whether through reputation, legacy, or possessions—is ultimately a shadow of death. But in Christ, there is only life—abundant, eternal, indestructible life.
Marriage, when centered in Christ, is not dissolved by death—it is glorified. Resources, when surrendered to Christ’s purposes, do not decay—they participate in eternity. Acts done in Him do not fade—they echo forever. This is not a mystical exaggeration but the reality of union with the One who is Life Himself. In Adam all die. In Christ, nothing dies.
✍🏼 Personalized Journal Entry – Voice of the Holy Spirit Through Scripture
I have placed you in Christ so that nothing of My life remains separate from you. As He is, so are you—alive with a life that is unending, unshakable, and eternal. You do not draw from a temporary supply; you are rooted in the One who is Life itself. Everything that belongs to Me has been given to you—not by earning, but by your union with My Son.
Nothing you do in Me will ever die. Not a word spoken in love, not a gift given in faith, not a tear offered in surrender. These are not forgotten or lost—they are gathered into eternity, woven into My purposes. Outside of Me, even noble efforts decay, because they are not connected to the Vine. But in Me, all bears fruit that endures.
Your relationships, your resources, your days—they were never meant to be managed independently. They are holy when given back to Me. Your marriage, when lived in Me, is not dissolved in the grave. Your purpose, when surrendered to Me, cannot be buried. You are not part of a fading world—you are part of a risen kingdom.
Where death once reigned, Life now reigns. And you reign with Me—not by merit, but by presence. You are in Christ, and that means you are in Life. So walk not in fear of what will fade, but in faith that nothing of Mine ever dies. You are already eternal. So live like it.

🧺 Real-Life Analogy
It’s like plugging into a surge-protected power strip during a storm. Everything connected to that strip remains safe and energized no matter how chaotic the weather becomes. But anything left unplugged is vulnerable. In Christ, you are fully connected to the Source—and everything attached to Him is alive, guarded, and permanently powered by eternity.
🙏🏼 Prayer of Confidence
Father, I thank You that because I am in Christ, I am already alive with Your eternal life. I don’t have to cling to temporary things to find meaning or security. You have already secured my days, my relationships, and even my legacy in Christ. Nothing in You dies. Everything in You lives. I rest today in the permanence of that truth, confident that my life—and all that I commit into Your hands—is already caught up in resurrection power.
